LIGHTWELL

There is a well at the bottom of the sky, and it has been drinking light since before there were eyes. Every star it ever swallowed is still falling. Time runs slow at the mouth — a second spent there is worth ten spent anywhere else. Skim it. Steal back what you can carry. The well does not mind. The well has forever.
